Logan AKA Hulk Hogan AKA Logie T Rex. This boy. He’s the one that has kept me on my toes since day 1. Having my third baby I went in thinking “I’ve got this, nothing is going to phase me at this point!” HA! This kid. First, he was 9 pounds at birth. Okay, 8 lbs 15 oz but close enough. Talk about pain. Around six months old his skin issues started. Humidity triggered some severe eczema. Then came the allergies. Oat, egg, milk and the life threatening peanut and tree nut allergies. Three different specialists seen, all kinds of liquid meds, steroid creams and an epi pen. Drs warning “Keep his skin reactions controlled or he’ll also get asthma”. We’re still not out of the asthma woods yet, I think around 8 we’ll know but I plan to do another allergy post later on. Back to my Hulk. This boy loves like no other. Hugs like no other. Fights like no other. He is 0 to 60 in 2 seconds flat. No fear. Always up for an adventure and always looking for someone to wrestle. He is adamant that he has been with us the entire time. The family never existed without him. He’s not wrong, we’d be lost without him. One of his nicknames is “The Great Guy.”
Logan’s thing is dinosaurs. He loves them. He can name way more than I can. If you’re looking at them with him you better know your stuff or he’s going to correct you! And you better be able to understand what he’s saying! He is so smart he blows us away. We read book after book after book. He has a handful of them memorized so he’ll grab one and recite each page from memory. It’s incredible! He can put puzzles together faster than his older siblings. He is starting preschool in the fall and as much as I am excited to see him go, I just can’t believe how quickly this time came! Landon and Madelyn made it through preschool without a single issue but I have a bad feeling Logan’s going to be the one that causes a few phone calls or meetings. He’s a brute.
Logan LOVES his family. His siblings are his best friends. His love for his baby brother is unlike anything I’ve ever seen. They’re going to have such a great bond as they grow! We do have some jealousy issues like all families with a toddler and a baby do, but 90% of the time he’s loving on Dylan.
