Dylan Joseph AKA Dilly Joe. This baby is nuts! He started rolling back to belly before three months old. By three months he was rolling in all directions and I couldn’t keep him contained. It’s been chaos with him ever since. He gets wherever he wants so quickly. I can’t take my eyes off of him so I can’t get anything done. He only sleeps in my arms so during nap time I still can’t get anything done! My house is a mess, the laundry is always piled up, dishes galore but I am trying to push that to the back of my mind and just be in the moment with Dylan. He is our last baby and I’m trying to really breathe in every last moment. At least while he’s sleeping on me I can write all these blog posts!
Dylan is a super smart baby. He picks things up so quickly. We’re pretty sure he’s already in training for the olympics. He’s 9 months old and he’s hit all of the milestones for his age. I’m used to lazy babies that take their time! He has 7 teeth. He’s trying so hard to talk. It’s so funny. Just like Logan, he has no idea he’s years behind the other kids. He just wants to be included in the tribe. He has two moods. He’s either mad and screaming or he’s insanely happy. There’s never a middle ground. As far as all four babies go, Dylan’s been the hardest. The early mobility and his irritability have really done a number on me. For the longest time I couldn’t put him down because he would scream. Now I can’t put him down because the minute he’s down he’s finding new ways to hurt himself. “Not for babies” is the most commonly said phrase in our household.
Dylan absolutely loves being part of this family. He recognizes his siblings and screams when he seems them coming towards him. He gets soooo excited when the bigger two get home from school. His favorite person is his sister, she’s so good with him. He also loves when I set his seat up in Landon’s room and they hang out together. Dylan and Logan are stereotypical siblings. They have a fierce love for one another and they get along for the most part but they fight over toys and mom’s lap.
